Look forward to the rebranding of leofiance / threads to something more encompassing and friendly than "finance". As much as some of us love finance, it is not for everyone. Was a good "catch" for part of crypto (currency) that many do enjoy blogging and reading about. "Project Blank" phrased by @leofinace quite a while ago now. The project has evolved to where it now seeking to onboard new users to the #hive blockchain and have Threads as a means of being more engaging and a better way for new users to be less decentralized with a place to kind of call "home". Where many on the blockchain interact all day long even in (near) real time that is posted to the blockchain. A vision had by many for some time now finally coming out into a working form. Still a ways to go with many challenges with onboarding people into our blockchain and crypto world.

People will need to know how to create an account. One may get one our traditional way and download their own keys so they own their account if ready for all of that. However not everyone is. Especially the new user who is used to a login and password where there is a forget password option that is not the case with Hive and decentralized technology of blockchain. As part of this is kept in the blockchain one needs to take very good care of it almost, or even more so than a pet.

Or one way use what is known as a light account. With a light account a user may login in with their gmail, or twitter login to authenticate a connection signing up for a lighter account where the keys do not need to be download and stored until a user is ready, or starts earning a certain amount of crypto (Hive, Hive Power (HP), or LEO) when the user may be suggested, or forced to download the keys.
