The orchard and its benefits: Harvesting and planting of Yairen (Calathea allouia)
Hello creative community delighted to greet you, I hope you are well, today I share with you my visit to the family garden where a tuber known as Yairen was harvested.
This was planted in September and since December we are eating this delicious vegetable. Its particular flavor is very tasty although it resembles a little bit to the potato.
Hola comunidad creativa encantado en saludarles, espero se encuentren bien, el día de hoy les comparto mi visita a la huerta familiar donde se cosechó un tuberculo conocido como Yairen.
Éste fue sembrado en el mes de septiembre y desde diciembre estamos comiendo éste delicioso vegetal. Su sabor es particular muy sabroso aunque se parece un poco a la papa.
In my visit to the garden I was able to contemplate how wonderful and kind God is to provide such healthy food rich in vitamins and minerals that provide great benefits to our health and something very important is that we can plant in our land this delicious tuber.
En mi visita a la huerta pude contemplar lo maravilloso y bondadoso de Díos al proveer alimentos tan sanos y ricos en vitaminas y minerales que nos proporcionan grandes beneficios a nuestra salud y algo muy importante es que podemos sembrar en nuestro terreno éste delicioso tuberculo
The planting process of this wonderful vegetable was carried out in September and by December it was already being harvested and the planting cycle started again. It is very exciting at the time of digging to get out from under the ground each bunch and the surprise is how much we can get out, I tell you it is very exciting.
El proceso de siembra de éste maravilloso vegetal se realizó en el mes de septiembre y ya para el mes de diciembre se estaba recolectando y nuevamente el ciclo de siembra. Es muy emocionante al momento de cavar para sacar de debajo de la tierra cada racimo y la sorpresa es cuánto podemos sacar, les cuento es muy emocionante.
In my village it is very common to plant vegetables and fruits in the land of our house depending on the soil, for example my relative plants cocoa and vegetables such as auyama and ocumo chino. From a very young age we eat very fresh vegetables and fruits in our land which is mostly behind the house.
