We all fall to the ground at some point. It's how you pick yourself up, that's the real challenge.
Madonna
Hello #Architecture+Design community, I hope you are well. Today I share with you the design of a Medical center known as Virgen Del valle which is located in Primogénita del Continente Americano, on Santa Rosa Avenue.
The characteristics of the building is a foundation of 1.60 x 1.60 mts, with steel reinforcement grid, made with a 1 in. concrete reinforcing bars of 250 kg-f resistance. In addition, the structural element to join the Foundation or footings is manufactured with reinforcing steel (8 cab of 1/2" and stirrups cab 3/8" and reinforced concrete).
The floor of the Virgen Del Valle Medical Center is fabricated with reinforcing steel (4" x 4" Truckson mesh) and poured with reinforced concrete of 250 kg-f resistance and finished with ceramic tile. The columns of this building have a reinforced concrete structure with steel reinforcement of dimensions (30 x 30) cm.
The internal access stairs are made of reinforced concrete and steel reinforcement. Also the emergency stairs were manufactured with beams and concrete risers, spiral type model.
The "Virgen Del Valle" Medical Center has a reinforced concrete tank with dimensions of 2 x 2 x 3 meters, equivalent to 12 m3 of potable water storage.
It has a porch with an exterior structure of the building with a main entrance, metallic protectors, finished walls with flagstones. In addition, a roof: Machimbrahado of wood, with Creole tiles, with several falls.
This Medical Center is a point of reference for me, since in my daily errands I go through this area, specifically in front of this building. The Virgen del Valle Medical Center is well known by the inhabitants of the city as it offers different medical specialties and even maternity and hospitalization.
They also offer dentistry and ophthalmology services and even x-ray exams at a reasonable price.
This building besides having a very peculiar design, has two floors of reinforced concrete, cement blocks number 10 and 15, wooden Machimbrahado roof, Creole tiles and several waterfalls. The technical details of this building were provided by Industrial Engineer Tomás Rodríguez.
It also has a main facade with ivory colored walls, with panoramic aluminum windows and glass distributed in various areas of the building, also has aluminum front door, a main access corridor, porch with metal railings, a metal gate and green areas which is very well maintained. The Medical Center also has central air conditioning.
Until a future tour of more of my beautiful city, the First Born of the American Continent.
