Here are some photos of the Red Oaks around our house.

These first two photos are of a red oak tree grown from an acorn from our original red oak that my son planted in a pot when he was in Cub Scouts in 1st grade.
The tree is about 20 years old now.

This next red oak is in our backyard and I hang my bird feeders on it.
It's my beautiful view as I wash dishes in my kitchen.
I love all of the interesting branches and the leaves were changing colors at the time.

This last photo is of our red oak on our back driveway.
Note our van in the photo to see how tall this tree is!
It's almost 30 years old.

We planted all of these trees.
I love oak trees of any kind.
They stand up to the test of time!
