We are inching closer to the end of this Retrograde phase. However, when I talk to people about what Mercury Retrograde has to teach us, I am frequently met with negativity, spiritual bypassing, and just a general lack of awareness of how retrograde planets can act as a catalyst for growth. Before I dig into this reading, I am going to address three astrological components that are necessary to understand for this reading.
Mercury is the planet of thought, communication, and intelligence. It is our ability to observe, assess, and analyze our environment without bias. Its placement representing a specific style of perceiving and relating to others in a logical/rational way. It is also rules transactions, travel, and technology, so it can become easy to blame Mercury Retrograde for any mix ups.
Aries energy doesn't look back. It always presses forward looking for new terrain to explore, but what does this mean whenever those energies turn inward during a retrograde? Typically, this would be a time where we would feel a push towards speaking our minds more and thinking less about the consequences. However, Aries in retrograde has to take a different approach.
Retrogrades are planetary phases where a planet appears to be moving backwards. Our thoughts tend to be focused on the past, and as I'm sure you all know, it is not the easiest time to begin something new (You do you though. I'm all about going against the grain.). Our Mercury energy will turn inward where we will go within ourselves to seek unseen terrain.

Dualities must be reconciled, so that our thoughts may become less biased and whole. We must explore old terrain and find the hidden gems we need for our next journey. This means that all of the blasts from the pasts some of you might be getting are there for you to observe what lessons you might have missed. You can see if there are any emotional, mental, or psychological wounds you have buried. These are the memories that you must accept. Analyze opposing forces (masculine/feminine, positive/negative, yin/yang, life/death, order/chaos). Then zoom out and see how they are all working as One.
This card suggests that we need to find space in our lives to be alone and connect with source. We must be the initiator in this process. Reflect on what the Art card has to say. Seek to communicate with what is beyond the veil.
Typically, this time frame is used as a planning phases for long trips, vacations, etc. Retrograde energy can make preparing for a transition seem impossible, but be on your toes once we come out of this retrograde. If you want to go somewhere that requires a bit of a game plan, you need to be ready to get shit done, because there may be more obstacles in our way.
