Hola, mi nombre es Violeta, esta es mi presentación para #Hive, les contaré un poco de que he hecho en la vida.
Hello, my name is Violet, this is my presentation for #Hive, I will tell you a little bit about what I have done in life.
A los diez años empecé a hacer clases de danza folclórica venezolana, de donde soy, y de donde se enraíza mi curiosidad por apreciar la cultura de mi país y la de otros países.
At the age of ten I started taking Venezuelan folkloric dance classes, where I am from, and where my curiosity to appreciate the culture of my country and that of other countries is rooted.
Después de presentarme en diferentes espectáculos pasé a formar parte de la compañía de danzas Zazaribacoa, una de las agrupaciones con más experiencia en mi país y que tuvo el privilegio de representar a Venezuela en números certámenes de danza a nivel internacional.
Tuve la dicha de viajar con ellos y conocer a tanta gente apasionada por este arte, gente con la que aprendí a valorar más la vida.
After performing in different shows, I became part of the Zazaribacoa dance company, one of the most experienced groups in my country, which had the privilege of representing Venezuela in many international dance competitions.
I had the joy of traveling with them and meeting so many people passionate about this art, people with whom I learned to value life more.
Trabajé, además, como profesora de danza, lo que significó un compromiso muy placentero porque bailar y dar clases al mismo tiempo me sirvió de mucho en mi crecimiento como bailarina y como persona.
I also worked as a dance teacher, which meant a very pleasant commitment because dancing and teaching at the same time helped me a lot in my growth as a dancer and as a person.
En fin, con este primer amor artístico, adquirí disciplina, compromiso, experiencia personal y una sensibilidad artística, que debo confesar que en primera parte viene heredada por mi padre, quien es escritor, maestro y un apasionado lector.
In short, with this first artistic love, I acquired discipline, commitment, personal experience and an artistic sensibility, which I must confess that I inherited from my father, who is a writer, a teacher and a passionate reader.
Teatro
Al mismo tiempo de ser bailarina veía clases de teatro en la Compañía Regional de Teatro de Portuguesa, donde conocí que mi amor al arte no solo se manifestaba a través de la danza. Aparte del teatro disfruto de la fotografía, las artes plásticas, la música, cosas que seguro les iré mostrando por aquí.
Paralelo a todo esto, participaba en movimientos dirigidos al servicio social, sin saber que se convertiría en una de las cosas que más me gustaría hacer, y por la cual me estoy formando actualmente.
Pero mi recorrido no termina ahí también he adquirido amor por el yoga, la respiración y la meditación, he aprendido que cultivar el espíritu es una de las mejores formas para estar en paz y en plenitud.
Theater
At the same time of being a dancer I was attending theater classes at the Regional Theater Company of Portuguesa, where I learned that my love for art was not only manifested through dance. Apart from theater I enjoy photography, plastic arts, music, things that I will surely show you here.
Parallel to all this, I participated in movements aimed at social service, without knowing that it would become one of the things I would most like to do, and for which I am currently training.
But my journey does not end there, I have also acquired a love for yoga, breathing and meditation, I have learned that cultivating the spirit is one of the best ways to be at peace and in fullness.
Viaje a España
Ahora vivo en España, en Mallorca. Debido, entre otras cosas a la situación devastadora por la que está pasando la gente de mi país.
Actualmente estudio psicología, ya voy por el tercer año, y compagino mis días trabajando como niñera cuidando a unos niños, esos que me abrazan todos los días y me enseñan tantas cosas.
En los tres años que llevo por aquí, he tenido lindas amistades, que me han ayudado a ver otras perspectivas de la vida, y la oportunidad de formar parte de una agrupación dancística, aunque por poco tiempo, pero me ayudó en su momento.
Travel to Spain
I now live in Spain, in Mallorca. Due, among other things, to the devastating situation that the people of my country are going through.
I am currently studying psychology, I am in my third year, and I combine my days working as a nanny taking care of some children, those who hug me every day and teach me so many things.
In the three years I've been here, I've had nice friendships, which have helped me to see other perspectives of life, and the opportunity to be part of a dance group, although for a short time, but it helped me at the time.
No es fácil ser inmigrante, pero aquí estoy, en otro país, con nuevos amigos, recordando cada día a las personas que están lejos de mí. Me gustaría que existirá un espacio con toda la gente de allí y de aquí. No se puede, ya lo sé, lo bueno es que me puedo inspirar de ese sentimiento.
It is not easy to be an immigrant, but here I am, in another country, with new friends, remembering every day the people who are far away from me. I would like there to be a space with all the people from there and from here. It can't be done, I know that, the good thing is that I can draw inspiration from that feeling.
Bueno, he llegado a la plataforma #Hive gracias a varios amigos que me han estado explicando cómo funciona este mundo acuático, sus comunidades con sus iniciativas y concursos, el respeto que debe haber al publicar y comentar, y en especial lo que significa hive, una base de datos, con contenidos propios de sus usuarios y disponibles para ser aprovechados.
