Today, I am going to talk about ordinary days, some days were amazing but most of the days were just ordinary. Ordinary means that it is the usual thing that you always do or your daily routine like waking up, eating, working, going home, rest for a while, and sleep.
Some might be different but the cycle is the same every single day. Well, it differs for other days if you have something important to do, that's not ordinary but it was not an unexpected ordinary days because you had plan of it ahead of time.
Even if the days were just an ordinary as it is but it may be memorable for that days because you can vividly remember those ordinary days up until now. Well, there were unexpected days for those ordinary days that happened.
You just thought that it was an ordinary day but it turns out that there were things that shifted or happened in an unexpected ways. I have experience that for about a year ago, well, that was on my birthday.
I always knew that during my birthdays, it was just ordinary that we ate together and such but there were unexpected happened, one of that was that I was surprised by the team from my colleagues for my birthday, that was the very first time that I got a surprise during my birthday.
I thought that it was just another birthday that always happened, just a normal routine that I usually do but it turns out that I got surprise by them with their happy smile on their face while getting on the office because I was called by other departments to fix their computer.
Actually, it was a meaningful birthday that I experience because as I got surprise by my colleagues, I also prepare something for the celebration in the company since the company had offered when an employee had a birthday, they will prepare something for that employee's birthday.
I planned on preparing my birthday during lunch time because the usual preparation was on snack in the afternoon but I want different and that's why I got to prepare for lunch so that my colleagues will have a full stomach during lunch time.
That ordinary moment turns into a special moment for me because there were lots of firsts that I experience myself during that day because I always knew myself that I was a giver not a receiver so it was unexpected.
