Would it matter if it was a green ( more sour ) apple?
I think the idea is to eat it slowly, bite by bite and really savor it ( like a kid would eat the only sweet /candy it had ).
Good question if it changed my health. To be honest, it was a big challenge. Especially when I was with others and they were eating, snacking and so on, when I was only allowed to have water. It made me more grumpy and low on energy in the morning, as I didn't have any food in the first couple of hours after waking up.
Looking back on it, I probably was a little too hard on myself. I learnt about Ayurveda later and discovered that, with my body type ( tall with little fat and a strong digestion ) it's probably healthier to eat more often.
I tend to really dive into something than go a little extreme with it and eventually break away from it, just remembering and using those lessons that actually benefit me and fit me. We are all different and life is about constant change and growth.
Now I think of it , I might have slept better and deeper in these months. Something I have been struggling with in the last two months or so ( but that might also be due to the overall energy and fear in the air in these crazy times haha )
Enjoy your weekend!
