Throughout the night and during the day,
we were blessed with rain, several times.
Even though the sun still shone strongly, in between the moments of wetness, it already feels so much better.
It has cooled down significantly.
and it suddenly seems like we can finally breathe again.
Animals are chirpy. The land is happy.
We are more relaxed ourselves.
The Summer is slowly changing into Autumn.
Mid-afternoon, 
The idea was to visit areas that we hadn't been to in months ( due to the intense heat and drought ).
It really felt great to reconnect with these almost forgotten corners and we are more and more grateful for all that we have here.
Owning almost two hectares of land might seem overwhelming, at times, but you get so much in return.
Whilst meandering our land, we found yet another porcupine quill
and, most importantly, a big skull...
Did dinosaurs never really go extinct?
This skull might be old but not that old.
These giant lizards might still be roaming the forests of Molise, Italy.
Perhaps they are just very good at avoiding people.
Whatever's the case, they are welcome here.
Clare and I encourage any kind of wild life.
As long as they don't eat us, we will leave them be.

P.S. My brother thinks it must have been a Dimetrodon.
