[ANN] VIMM - New Rewards Distribution (Delegators payout #2)

Today is pay day for @vimm supporters! In case you didn't know, on the 11th of every month, we distribute a portion of the rewards generated by Vimm to everyone who delegates at least 25SP to @vimm. This is our way to thank you for supporting the platform and helping us give better rewards to streamers.

Before we get into the pay day portion of this post, we'll cover everything you need to know about the new rewards distribution on Vimm.tv (effective today)

New Payout Structure

Up until today, Vimm streams had a 9% + 9% beneficiaries fee. 9% went directly to @vimm, while the other 9% went to @vimm.pool to pay out investors for their delegation. While this split made sense with only a few users on the platform, it's not ideal for scaling. More people using Vimm also means we can reduce these fees, in turn leaving more rewards for the streamers, while still allowing us to pay for servers and other running costs.

We are happy to announce that we are reducing the fee from 18% (9%+9%) to a single 12% beneficiary split. We will be paying supporters from the rewards we generate with curation, leaving more for streamers and curators.

For supporters, this shouldn't affect the size of payouts too much. We simply feel like it is more fair to pay our supporters with our profits instead of taking it from user's rewards.
