First post under the new HF21 regime #newsteem 😃

Juhu, der HF21 wurde gestern aktiviert und am Anfang hat es so ausgesehen, als würde das Update diesmal problemlos verlaufen, aber dann gab es einen Crash (Overflow einer Downvote-Berechnung).

Verstehe nicht, warum man den Hardfork nicht in einem Testnet mit den Live-Steem-Daten testen kann, aber verglichen zum letzten Hardfork-Upgrade, der eine Katastrophe war, scheint es diesmal glatter verlaufen zu sein.

Bin jedenfalls schon sehr auf die ökonomischen Änderungen gespannt und stehe dem wie erwähnt positiv gegenüber. Ich habe gestern bereits 2 Bidbod-Posts auf Trending downgevotet, da man jetzt jeden Tag zweieinhalb gratis 100%-Downvotes hat, die wir auch nutzen sollten, um unfaires Verhalten einzudämmen.

Ich habe auch schon die ersten Auswirkungen der neuen Reward-Kurve gesehen und zwar ist der eigene Vote jetzt unterschiedlich viel wert, abhängig davon wieviel ein Posting insgesamt bekommt. Wie gesagt bin eher ein Fan einer linearen Kurve, aber die Änderung ist trotzdem interessant. Erste Auswirkung ist, dass ein einzelnes Comment-Upvote jetzt ein bisschen weniger wert ist.

In den nächsten Tagen werde ich dann auch das neue Steem Proposal System (SPS) anschauen [3], mit dem wir jetzt einzelne Projekte von der Blockchain finanzieren können. 10% des Reward-Pools gehen jetzt an steem.dao.

Auch wenn man jetzt weniger Steem pro Posting bekommen sollte, könnte das neue Downvote-System und ein investoren-freundlicher Steem langfristig dazu führen, dass auch Autoren wieder wesentlich mehr bekommen als jetzt. Bin jedenfalls auf die Auswirkungen des neuen HF21 sehr gespannt und hoffe das Beste für Steem. Steem on.

Yeah, HF21 was activated yesterday and at the beginning it looked as if the update would run smoothly this time, but then there was the crash (overflow of a downvote calculation).

I don't understand why we can't test the Hardfork on a testnet with live data from Steemit, but compared to the last Hardfork upgrade, which was a disaster, it seems to have been smoother this time.

Anyway, I'm very excited about the economic changes and as already mentioned I'm positive about it. I already voted down 2 bidbod posts on Trending yesterday, because now you have two and a half 100% downvotes for free every day, which we should use to curb unfair behaviour.

I've already seen the first effects of the new Reward curve. The value of my own vote now varies depending on how much a posting gets in total. As I said, I'm more of a fan of a linear curve, but the change is still interesting. The first effect is that a single comment upvote is now worth a little less.

In the next days I will also look at the new Steem Proposal System (SPS) [3], with which we can now finance individual projects from the blockchain. 10% of the reward pool now goes to steem.dao.

Even if you should get less Steem per post now, the new Downvote system and an investor-friendly Steem could lead to quality authors earning much more in the long run. Anyway, I am very excited about the effects of the new HF21 and hope for the best for Steem. Steem on.
