This is Ajax again. He grew into a very handsome cat, as you can see.
Unless I find a couple of other gems hiding in my files, this is the end of my story of Ajax and Apollo. They were rehomed when they were six months old.
I was told that my eldest was allergic to them and that it was a primary cause of his "brittle" asthma (meaning he could "go off" at any moment for seemingly no reason.) It turned out to be wrong... his problems continued after getting rid of the cats. It was a few more years before I realized that the bulk of his asthma was caused by food additives, not the cats at all (unless he was already bad.)
