In childhood, it was the "uncle moon" of lullabies, the most enchanting toy of childhood,
one that we didn't want to possess,
but only to gaze at
It is a metaphor for love
clear as the full moon,
dim as the new moon
In its waxing and waning,
hid the secret of life incompleteness, which each time returns
Creates its own perfection
Its silent circumambulation
embraces the earth, even without touch,
and within the depths of the ocean,
awakens the invisible music of the waves
as if some distant memory
suddenly echoes within
The moon, Earth's silent sentinel,
a white memory, in which are preserved
our love, our lullabies,
our grief and the wait
that continues beyond time
