You have the right to choose who you will serve, will you serve God or the devil. You may say to yourself am a christian,i pay my tithe and offering,i give to the poor but do you know you may not be serving God genuinely, on the last day the bible records in
Matthew 7vs21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There are different things we serve idols unknowingly ,these are few examples of them below.

YOUR GADGETS;Do you know your devices, gadgets like phone, laptop,iPad and others can distract you from serving God?In the morning, the first thing you do immediately you wake up is to press you phone, check for missed call, messages and so on.instead of you to pray before touching your phone.Even in the church some people pretend to read their bible through their phone while opening other site to chat while the service is going on.The time you should spend being in the house of God you spend it on being on the social media, those that left you pressing you phone before going to church will come back and meet you still on the internet.

MONEY:money is another distraction.God loves a hardworking man because the bible still says 'NO FOOD FOR A LAZY MAN" but when the idea of spending the whole of your time in your business and not even even time to pray in the morning,go to church then that is not good.Always create time to work and serve the lord remember that riches and business can be gone in the twinkle of the eyes.God made you rich so don't neglect God like the rich fool in the bible.

LUKE 12 vs 16-21 KJV
16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

CHURCH ACTIVITIES:church activities is another one when you are too carried away with the church activities, you need to check your self. Are you just doing eye service or you are doing it genuinely for God. I don't mean you should be a bench warmer in church but make sure all you are involved with in the church is to God's Glory.

HOBBIES:Hobbies can be another distraction for example the lovers of telemundo, when its time for prayer meeting or bible study,it also the same time for some series on tv,you will prefer to stay back at home and watch the series then say to yourself i will go to church on Sunday.what if God comes in that moment what will be your excuse?

JEWELRIES: I had a friend in school, she told me of her mum that she liked jewelries a lot to the extent she had sleeping earrings but one day the Holyspirt ministered to her that this earrings and jewelries is becoming a God to her. When she woke up that day she packed all the jewelries to the dustbin just for it not be an hindrance to her from making heaven.

Lets check ourselves we may be serving these things unknowingly and they could stand as an hindrance to us from making Heaven. This will not be an hindrance for us making Heaven in Jesus Name.Amen.

Choose to serve God now before its too late. The question now is who do you serve?
