No one knows yet what this car will ultimately be called. It is known that Ora is a brand owned by GWM - Great Wall Motors and this is unlikely to change :)
But... in the Chinese market it is called "Lightning Cat", in Australia it will probably be called "Sport" and in other markets it is possible that simply "07".
Any way, after debuting in Western markets with a small, affordable "Funky Cat" model, Ora introduces something from the higher end. Ora Sport is to compete with Tesla 3 and Polestar 2. But with a length of almost 4.9 m, it is significantly longer than the competition.
Single- and twin-engine versions will be available with:
150 kW (204 PS; 201 bhp)
300 kW (408 HP; 402 bhp)
respectively.
Top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph) and a 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) acceleration time of 4.4 sec (dual-motor)
Driving range of over 480 km (300 miles) WLTP
You don't have to be an outstanding professional to notice a stylistic reference to Porsche, Bentley or even Jaguar. Nevertheless, the design from both the outside and the inside is impressive. At the same time, the quality of assembly is assessed quite positively, although it is not "top of the line". The car's behaviour on the road is definitely comfortable, not sporty, which is clearly different from Porsche.
Prices and specifications have not yet been released, but it can be expected that the car will be very competitively priced against the Tesla 3 and Polestar 2.
First deliveries - 2024
