A cat had fallen in love with a beautiful young man, and begged Aphrodite to make her a woman. The goddess, sympathetic to her desire, transformed her into a beautiful maiden, and then the young man, in love with her, invited her to his house.
While both were resting in the nuptial bedroom, Aphrodite wanted to know if when she changed from being to the cat she had also changed her character, so she released a mouse in the center of the bedroom.
Forgetting the cat of his present condition, she got up from the bed and chased the mouse to eat it. Then the goddess, indignant, returned her to her original state.

A change in appearance, never translates into a change in essence, and no matter how much we change, we will always be the same inside, because there is a part of us, the most intimate, that can never be changed.
You are the same as always, the same as you were when you were a child, innocent and naive that only wants to have fun and do good in spite of everything, but changes in our appearance, by changing our body from children to men, make us lose contact with our true inner nature, and the expectations that weigh upon us, those social expectations, end up making us give up our control abroad and not inside.
It is known that children are carriers of true human nature, and it is because, despite all their disabilities, they always know how to behave as indicated by their interior and not by external circumstances.
The cat that transforms into a woman, is like the child that transforms into a man, or any man who suffers a change in his outward appearance due to bad experiences and is forced to act differently. This change is nothing more than a facade, a mask that we put on ourselves and forget that we are wearing, because in reality, we will always be one and the same inside, with nothing we can do to change it.
Keep this in mind, no matter how much you change in reality, you will only be able to make changes on the outside, in your appearance, while your essence, who you really are, will always remain intact, and you will always be the same as you once were, and if you're lucky, you'll ever be again, the same as you already are, but maybe you forgot.
