I think there is a difference between doing right and wrong in the context of morality, and what is right as opposed to making a mistake. I think it's good to be good, but I also think it's not bad to make mistakes. If you try to do the right thing without making mistakes you will probably fail miserably. Doing the right thing sometimes means first failing many times. Mistakes are not bad, what is bad is not learning, eventually I think it is good to accept them and live with them. Right now, I think the only thing I'm doing right is making mistakes. :)

In any case, I would not judge something as right or wrong on the basis of its consequences, but on the basis of what I may have actually done.
