We always hear that to succeed in a company or in any economic activity, all it takes is hard work and effort, but... What does this mean?... Virtue.
Virtue is the key to success, not only in business and economic activities but in the whole life, because whoever does good, things go well and their results are good. Virtue is the key to any lasting and stable progress in life, and this is understood since only he who has virtue is able to maintain the perseverance necessary for a business to progress.
Virtue is not always hard work and effort, sometimes you just have to be patient or be honest, or speak and think well and correctly.
In Taoism there is this idea that a monarch or leader in general should only practice virtue in his house or royal palace so that everything in his kingdom goes well, through Wu Wei or non-action people are responsible for doing only the correct action, which translated is the ethically and morally correct action, causing everything to be redirected and flow slowly and progressively following the laws of its own nature or the Tao.
So that just by practicing virtue, speaking well, thinking well, having patience, strength, being fair and tolerant, and participating in all the other qualities we call good, it should be enough and left over to find progress in life in general and slowly let the stagnant flow.
That is the right action, because good is the only currency that never pays badly, if you take care of practicing virtue, you can assure yourself of the good results of your harvest.
