For a while now I have been learning ASL. Thinking about how dance is already a language itself interpreted in the viewers minds. Not always interpreted as the choreographer imagined, but gets a point across. I’ve been exploring adding language to this interpreted language. If you do not know ASL, I am saying- “Where I’m from roots grow, lives grow, lives change, lives stay the same. I change”
