simple city background clip art, color study

A goood day to everyone, hope you guys are doing good, hey real quick just wanted to show yall, this lost work i found on the drive, and i didn't know i still had it though, this was a reeeaaally long time ago before i even knew how to draw buildings and all that, i really love creating cityscapes, cause they are actually easy to make, once you've gotten the hang of how building structures should look like

at first i was goimg for something a little bit futuristic, but i remembered i had a lot of things to do that day so i just changed the sky tone to the normal dark sky

next was to just block out the various buildings ill be using, with a simple dark color

and with the power of a simple gradient light, i was able to show the various, building shapes, and give the painting a little depth

one trick i didn't realize at that time was that , if you wanna show depth you can, just put a cool gradient at the back and then you a warm color gradients in the front.
