mi madre nacio en un pueblo pequeñito del pais
una mujer luchadora dificil de conseguir

de ella fuimos siete hermanos
pero uno ya murio mi madre ha sufrido
tanto desde que el fallecio
solamente le acompaña
un hijo que deje yo
con una mujer que amaba
pero que me traiciono(bis)

sinceramente en mi pueblo yo no tuve educacion
porque desde muy pequeño fui tan solo un pescador
siempre mi mayor anhelo fue poder ser cantador
hacer mis composiciones con cariño y con amor

una parte de mi vida yo se las relato hoy
provengo desde del oriente y del llano soy cantador

In this week 121 I wanted to interpret a song well known by many Venezuelans including Colombians, since this song crossed borders. The song is titled (Lamento Guaiquerí) of our always remembered Julio Miranda, this song tells us the humble life that the singer had in his beginnings, his family, his customs, his failures and his successes. I come from humble people and that makes me happy.
my father is a Guaiqueri Indian race fisherman
my mother was born in a small village of the country
a fighter woman difficult to get

from her we were seven siblings
but one has already died my mother has suffered
so much since he passed away
she is only accompanied by
a son that I left
with a woman I loved
but who betrayed me(bis)

I was not educated in my hometown
because since I was a little boy I was just a fisherman
my greatest desire was always to be able to be a singer
to make my compositions with love and affection

a part of my life I am telling you today
I come from the east and from the plains I am a singer
today I live in the capital looking for a solution
to bring to my people a gift made song (bis)
