Mental health is one of the less catered for aspects of our wellbeing, and despite the huge impact it has on how we discharge our duties in various aspects, a lot of people hardly take out time to do the right thing that will keep them stable mentally. I, for one, have had some issues that affected my mental well-being, though if I've been able to overcome them, it's kind of complicated, but I'd still love to share some tips that kept me going through it all.
With each and every one of us going through one difficulty or another, challenges that revolve around job security, finance, survival, needs, pressure, and others, each of these has the capacity to affect us mentally, even though we might not show it physically. These can be mental, which is less visible and might not be discovered unless those going through it speak out or show their discharging of duties, which isn't the same as it used to be.
Personally, I've been going through some situations that are affecting my mental health, such as lack, inability to provide for all of my needs, and pressure from parents and siblings about marriage and their needs, respectively. While each of these plays out, I might wave it off in the present of others as though I'm fine, but deep within, it's obvious that I'm broken, unstable, and needed attention to now break down due to all these issues that are affecting my well-being.
Below I shared more of the few things that have been helping me overcome or subdue this effect to the minimum. It's worthy of note that it might not be a pro tip, but it's what helped me, and I hope you find one that would do the same to you as well.
