MARKET FRIDAY - PATRONISING A LOCAL STORE

Hello fellow market lovers

So today while my food store I discovered most of my food stuffs and other necessities as almost finish,which left me with no choice than to visit the market and stock it all up again.

But due to the fact that am not feeling too well, I decided to patronise a local store within my community, and it really helped me in appreciating the thoughtful act of the store owners in setting up their store in the community and realized the importance and reasons why I should patronise local store* which are;

• investing in my community.

• convinence (which reduces the cost of transportation, time and energy.

• creating network and connection within my community.

• Great reception in terms of customer relation and attendants

• The have great knowledge about their product and goods, and they are ready to share tips on which product is better and how to get the best out of a product.

• There are always a combination of different product in just one store which is unlike the wider market where you have to move from one category of product to another.

• lower price, though it maybe more compare to the price of bigger market, but when you consider the cost of transportation and the stress you past through in navigating your path around the bigger market space, you'll realise what a bargain you're getting.

So after getting all my needed items, we exchange contact, should in case I need a particular item so other time, I can easily ask over the phone. And to crown it all, she asked her son to help me carry the purchase item home.
