When we hear the statement my best financial decision, a lot of people would immediately assume such a person have had a wonderful financial turnaround through the decisions they made in their finance and to be honest that's what first came to my mind when I saw the prompt myself, as I began to evaluate my life and try to point points one mind-blowing financial decisions I've made that transformed my life, but after lots of time spent critically thinking, I couldn't come up with one, and that's because of the definition I've had in mind, after reading the prompt calmly, I later had at least three I could talk about and so let's get to them.
You see, I'm not the kind of person who was raised with wealth of financial advice, neither do I have excellent financial advisor around me growing up, but then through life experience and personal desire, I've taken some decisions that turns out to be an excellent one financially and I believe that it had impacted my life pretty well, even though to some people it might seem insignificant, but to me it's gold, but then I hope that in the near future I'll be able to make a more remarkable financial decision that'll literarily elevate my financial status positively.
Talking about one of the best financial decisions I've made in my life, I can't forget how some years ago, about three to four years ago I made one of such decisions and it was a simple act of purchasing a device that ended up coming through for me and saving me from the need to spend lots more money and also saving me from inconvenient I would have experienced had I not purchased the device.
What I'm talking about is the solar device I purchased around that period, not upto there month after I got it, power supply became terrible in my community and the high demand in solar device led to the product doubling in value, fast forward to present day, the device is being sold for about three and half the value I purchased mine.
Fast forward to present day, the last time we had electricity supply in my neighborhood was August of the year 2024, and the wise financial I made by purchasing that device is still saving me alot till date, because unlike those who purchased generator, who has to spend thousands on fueling it per day, that isn't the case for, and that's not to talk about the fact that it hasn't develop any fault that warrant me to pay for maintenance for it, meanwhile those who purchased generator do pay form maintenance at least four times in a year.
So for that reason, even though it's not really something ambiguous that enhances my financial status, it's still one of the best financial decisions I've made, because it brought me comfort, save me going through inconvenience and spending more.
