Author's note:

The following poem was published yesterday on Spanish language in Steemit.

When I close my eyes,

I don't want to think

on the dawn of another day.

.-.-.-.-.

I prefer the eternal night.

I prefer to think that this is a nightmare.

.-.-.-.-.

Every day to the golden cage

I come out

and come back

to continue the routine.

.-.-.-.-.

Little by little the distress

strikes in my mind

without decorum,

with its sweet whispers

inviting me to never leave

the golden cage.

.-.-.-.-.
