Africa too has street monkey like Asian Countries
Stray monkey in streets? Whenever you will think about it, an Asian Country would come into your mind. But let me tell you this street culture exists in Africa too :D I was fascinated knowing this.
Maca roots can increase fertility.
There is famous maca roots that can increase fertility and sex power. Hihi. It originates from Peru and grows in very extreme weather conditions - high altitude and hot temperature. It comes from cabbage family.
High Blood glucose level impacts.
My mother's glucose level has got very poor and out of control. With this came many learnings, she has been putitng weights since a few months and no one noticed that this might be because of her uncontrolled glucose. But now we are dealing with- increased weight, airway infection, pain in hand, extreme fatigue and weakness. Whewww, I just wish her to be okay sonnest. She is my heart.
Scarcity of water in Africa.
Water Scarcity is so serious in Africa that people have to cut down on shwoers - take smaller ones. Hmm. When I think of it, I find it really uncomforting - compromise on shower because of water. What this tell me is - I must save water at all instants and I will.
When you are a good person, you don't need validation from others.
The past week was full of life lessons as well. Among many came one for Self-doubt. Never doubt your own self when you know you are principally right. Do not compromise with your self-worth when you know you are right even if it means standing alone. Anything that begins with Self need not be compromised ever.
Magnet has power to hold a tile.
Friday I was walking around in office cafeteria and I saw a little stall, a vendor came in to sell their products. They were selling little cute stuff like baby clips, painted stones, cute gift cards. Amongst all, they were also selling tile piece with quotes over them and magnet behind it. They told me it can be pasted on refrigerator but me and my friend doubted considering the weight of the tile and size of magnet. But the quote was too good and I just bought the piece. When I came home and put the tile on refrigerator, it worked and has been holding itself there since then.
Your parents will feel alone as they get older, please be there for them.
My mother is sick, while I was writing this post and thinking about the 7th thing, she suddenly started crying, I left everything and sat with her. She kept crying and I just hugged her, asked her what's wrong. She has not told me yet, but I know its the feeling - Being sick and having no one around except the busy daughter. My brother and sister-in-law are out and most of the times, they are busy, its just that that they don't sit with her. I know how it feels. I have been been deadly sick and no matter how many medicines you take, if your loved oness d not sit with you, you feel terrible and like no one cares. Hmmmm. I am going to do something about it though, for her. But I want to call it out - our parents grow old and they do do feel alone. Most of the times, we see it as they are getting along with their lives but no - they are getting along with holes in their hearts which only presence of a loved one can fill. So be there no matter what.
