Getting back to the main part of the garden now. This is where all my tomatoes, peppers, some squash, onions and lots of herbs and tomatoes are planted.

Here is a little before and after pic. Obviously the before is on the left and present is on the right.

Some companion plants for Tomatoes are:

  • Onions
  • Carrots
  • Garlic
  • Summer Squash
  • Any Basil
  • Marigolds (Keep away bugs)
  • Petunias

Peppers have many of the same companion plants. Planted with mine are Summer Squash, Basil, Marigolds and Onions.

We have 3 kinds of Tomatoes planted. Beefsteak, Rutgers and Early Girl. The peppers we planted are Green, Orange, Red and Purple Bell peppers. Jalapeno, Serrano, Hot Hungarian, Banana and Poblano. Here are a couple of the raised beds that are full.

I hope you enjoyed a little bit more of my garden. I'll be doing more garden walks as things start to fill in and get harvested. This is the latest I've ever put in a garden and I don't have my hopes up for a big yield. Let's see what happens. Thanks for following along!
