This weekend was very intense for our family.
Almost two years ago, when we bought our house in the village, we had an old shed that was about to collapse. We are constantly about to destroy it because it is dangerous to walk around it and now its time has come.
With @outlinez,
@greendo, and
@artysela we started with the roof, then the boards, and the bricks. We want to keep some of the material that we will use for various things around the yard.
Good thing we did it at this time of year because it was full of wasp nests. In the holes of the bricks, besides wasps, there were also many crickets. All are alive and well - we moved them to the sides and did not hang them.
@outlinez fenced two of Hügelkultur's beds with the new/old material. What I will plant in one of them, I will show next month when the time comes...
One of the cats was not very happy that we destroyed the shed.
In the evening we rested by the fireplace, drinking Baba Yaga beer. It's as if we symbolically destroyed Baba Yaga's house.
Thank you for stopping by!
