In the first book of Moses ... Genesis
In the creation of God: Sea light and was light. And God saw that the light was good and it was when the light of darkness separated and God called the light day.
What would become of humanity if there were no light? If through the light we can look at the hands of the clock, imagine for a second that 24 hours a day was all in darkness, there is no motivation for things, it would also happen if we lived in darkness, but God is so perfect that I believe both.
We walk in the light, in that light of the world that our creator left us so that we could live in the earthly.
