A little bit of a rocky start this afternoon.
I had to deal with a hangry
@guthrie who refused to pack his bag on this windy/rainy day. No, worries! I loaded him up with pizza and a root beer so his emotional state is stable now! My main goal was to get to 
@caffetto because I miss it and now I’m here. I expected to run into familiar faces, which I did. 
@dartstrife greeted me with a hug on his way out, promising to return with magic cards. 
@flaccidfervor was working behind the bar and I caught 
@jthiessen before the end of his shift. In a cheeky tone he told me that if I’d like to visit a lake then all I’d have to do is venture to the basement. I guess it’s flooding, oh dear!
Besides the flooding,
The tables have a new arrangement with mismatched chairs scattered throughout, new lamps, plants and a couple of mirrors. It’s a hipster’s dream. There’s still the usual crowd hanging out, playing board games and a few awkward dates sprinkled in the mix. I’m just hoping that this place stays punk and doesn’t become the typical instagram cafe.
Lucky for us, the baristas aren’t going anywhere!
