Guess what? kommienezuspadt@kommienezuspadt, guthrie@guthrie and I are back in the east coast!

Our trip arrived faster than I had anticipated. I spend the last couple of days cleaning the house and packing for the family. In between those two tasks we had a photoshoot at the house, guthrie@guthrie had a school dance, we went to a spring comic convention and I had dinner with lonniedi@lonniedi who arrived in town for her brother’s graduation. I’m glad I was able to see her in passing. After the graduation ceremony I met her and her family for dinner. She later surprised me with BTS (the k-pop group) merch from a pop up shop that sprung up in Chicago and a Sailor Moon charging bank. I feel so loved! I ended up bringing the charging bank with me on my trip.

My alarm was set for 5AM and our flight was scheduled to leave by 7:25AM. We were running behind schedule since I was caught up doing the dishes and kommienezuspadt@kommienezuspadt had a few last minute things to do. When we got around to ordering a Lyft, most of the drivers were twenty minutes away which was too far. As a last resort we drove to my grandmothers house, parked on the street and took a Lyft from there. Maybe we’ll continue to do so when traveling because her place is closer to the airport and it saved us lot of money. We were the last ones to board when we finally arrived at our gate. The morning was stressful but I’m so thankful that we made our flight.

kommienezuspadt@kommienezuspadt parted ways with guthrie@guthrie and I upon our arrival to Philadelphia. He took off on his own journey towards New York while the rest of the family and I ventured towards Scranton. He went three hours one way and we went to hours in the opposite direction. I miss him already.

This morning I woke up to keto pancakes. They’re flourless, sugarless pancakes and weren’t half bad but they tasted more Vietnamese Bánh xèo.

Thanks for stopping by to read my ramblings. 🦊
