It’s a caterpillar!

Honestly, I didn’t sleep too well last night. I woke up several times and felt sore from late night yoga. The initial plan was to spend the afternoon at @caffetto. I wanted to enjoy the weather, practice my needle work again. Instead, I was asked a favor from family and ended up hanging out the whole day because I missed them.

Upon arrival, my nieces came rushing over launching themselves into my arms. Ugh, my heart just melted. The older one also showed off a gap in her smile and I congratulated her on losing a tooth. I was invited to push them on the swings outside and that’s when we spotted a caterpillar hiding in the shade.

The girls love all creatures so they couldn’t resist asking if they could show off the caterpillar to all the grown ups. I have them a nod of approval, reminding them to be careful not to hurt it. The eldest confidently coaxed it onto a leaf and off they went.
