There is quite a bit of consternation on the Dutch Crypto market. For example, since mid-July Binance has disappeared from the Dutch market and it looks like they are also disappearing from the Belgian market. The reason, at least for the Netherlands, is that they do not yet comply with Dutch law and regulations. As far as I can judge, what they don't meet yet isn't shocking.
Many Dutch people traded on Binance and therefore had to look for another exchange, including me. In an earlier post I briefly explained how to use Shrimpy, this is an automated balancing tool to balance your Crypto portfolio. Shrimpy has also stopped, so it's all getting more difficult (in the Netherlands).
On the other hand, I was lucky in an accident, I had to transfer my portfolio to another Exchange, which eventually became KuCoin. To keep the fees as low as possible, I first transferred everything to XRP (Ripple) and transferred it to Kucoin.
I didn't pay any attention to it and let it sit for a few days. Now it appears that during these days the verdict has been given in Ripple's lawsuit against the American SEC. Ripple won the case and the price soared. This boosted my XRP quite a bit ;) That was a nice surprise.
Furthermore, I am not involved enough in trading or investing, simply because I do not have enough time for it. I follow a few groups on Telegram and a Dutch community 'Crypto Coiners', but the tips and tricks they give are not always feasible for me, then you have to work with them almost every day.
I still want to delve into certain long-term strategies, because I think they can certainly work. Not to get rich from it, but to see what works and what doesn't.
