Last week, I had a nice Penang Char Kueh Tiaw at this restaurant. I have been craving for this spicy food for weeks. Basically the word Char Kueh Tiaw is a Hokkien phrase and translates as stir-fried, flat rice noodles in English.
The place was located at a corner lot giving it a spacious dining area.
Menu above shows the varieties of food and drinks available here.
Here is the Char Kueh Tiaw that I ordered. It's a flat rice noodles, dark soy sauce, chilies, prawns, bean sprouts, garlic chives and egg. I love the taste of this food. Its spicy yet so delicious and really good to eat while its hot. This meal costed RM7.00 (USD1.72), quite cheap compare to other restaurant.
I ordered this refreshing cool Bandung Cincau to go with the food. Its a a beautiful in pink-greenish- yellowish with black Cincau or black jelly.
I am so satisfied with the Char Kueh Tiaw they served at this restaurant. It's a must try dish if you come to this place.
