Mactan Shrine is one of the most beautiful tourist spot here in Cebu, Philippines, it is located at Mactan Island, just of the coast from Cebu City, is a must see for everyone interested in Filipino history.
A heroic sculpture of Mactan named Lapu-Lapu who defeated Magellan. Lapu-Lapu sculpted with great realism stands tall, with a shield by his left arms and a curved kampilan sword. This sculpture represents the readiness of the brave warrior to confront aggressors.
There are a lot of people visited here with a diferrent cultures. In the other side there's a lot of shop you, can buy and bring a souvenir just a remembrance. Sorry for the low quality of the image I'm just using a smartphone (Asus Zenfone 3 Max).
