In today's post I will address 2 points

  • How proofofbrainio@proofofbrainio delegation works

  • What are the reasons that make me feel eligible to receive the delegation

On June 18, new rules for delegations were defined.

PobPower through HivePower delegation

The 1 HivePower for 1 PobPower delegation would no longer exist, and the 3 HivePower for 1 PobPower rule now governs, with a maximum of 7500 HivePower to receive 2500 PobPower.

The user who wants to have this delegation must have less than 2,500 PobPower.

These were the rules established for the first way to achieve proofofbrainio@proofofbrainio account delegation.

The second is through Merit Based Delegations.

And this is the rule for achieving the delegation:

According to the image above, we can see in the first paragraph that some delegations will be made to those who attribute value to the platform. And that he likes engagement.

In the second paragraph, it says that there are several ways to add value to the platform and that he wants to leave room for whoever is doing it.

Now that we know the Merit Based Delegations rules, I want to bring up the reasons why I believe I am eligible to receive this delegation.

Reasons why I deserve a delegation

Aiming at what was explained above, I want to bring some data about PobTalk, an initiative that it brought to the community, and which as a result is generating a lot of engagement.

What is PobTalk?

PobTalk is a post that occurs every day 00:00 (GMT-3), and in it we look for interactions between users.

There, they clear up doubts, make new friends and reward each other when some content within PobTalk is brought to the debate.

To encourage this communication and keep users motivated, I make a raffle at the end of the day according to the number of participants and spread a little of my vote among some users, so that they are rewarded for the engagement they are bringing. I think it's a fair way to get more community comments than posts.

Many times you have a small question that can be quickly inside PobTalk without you having to create a new post and hope that someone who knows the answer can read it and answer you.

What impact does PobTalk have on the community?

User interpretation@interpretation gives us a weekly report on the growth of the community, the most recent was dated the 30th. You can check it out by clicking here.

We can see from the POB graph that in the last 3 weeks the interactions (grey line) have been declining.

But when we look at the PobTalk chart we see that for the third week in a row it continues to rise. Reaching in the last report the great mark of 10.73% of all interactions in the community.

In this way I think I'm fulfilling the requirement both to bring engagement to the community and to add value to the platform.

In the friendlymoose@friendlymoose daily post, you can see that PobTalk is literally EVERY DAY in the 1st position of posts with the most engagement, often with 2, 3 and even 4 times more engagement than the 2nd position.

How much PobPower do I think I should get and why?

I like to play straight about my ideas, that's why I always expose them here so that they are recorded in the blockchain and that anyone can access it whenever they want to know my opinion on a certain subject.

In this way, I think it's fair to say how interesting the amount of delegation to be earned would be, and what was the reason I arrived at this amount.

I recently went to look at the delegations proofofbrainio@proofofbrainio had already made, and noticed that two curators had already received them.

amr008.pob@amr008.pob and scholaris.pob@scholaris.pob

Two of the greatest trustees in the community that I have the greatest respect for and whenever I can I'm dialoguing with them to keep me updated on how to improve my practices in the community.

Amr needs no introduction, it has one of the best, if not the best, method of rewarding engagement, through its robot that detects the quantity and quality of engagement and then presents them with votes.

Scholaris, for those who don't know, does an excellent manual curation, reading the posts that he votes for and always alerting other curators about plagiarized content or spam so that the user who is commenting on such infraction does not receive a reward. It is difficult work and requires a lot of attention.

Both are highly deserving of the delegations they received and I hope they can keep them for a long time.

I believe that PobTalk can resemble a little the work that the robot Amr does, giving away users who decided to interact, the difference is in the niche, since Amr takes this vote among all community comments and I only within PobTalk.

As I'm not a programmer, I manually collect users every day and conduct the draw live by POB's server on Discord for anyone who wants to watch and follow.

Transparency is the most important point I believe as it brings confidence.

I believe that just as they both received a 5,000 PobPower delegation, I believe I am also eligible for the same amount to receive 5,000 PobPower delegation from proofofbrainio@proofofbrainio.

I believe I have followed the requirements of creating value and engaging the community and spreading POB through PobTalk.

What do users think about PobTalk?

It's a fact that human beings will always speak highly of themselves, and so I decided to ask people's opinion about the work I've been doing, and I'd like to paste some sentences that I've been reading around.

I would also like to post some comments that I read in the interpretation@interpretation reports that I believe may also add some value to the request I am making.

Final Conclusions

Having seen that proofofbrainio@proofofbrainio was active today in the community, I believe that this publication can reach him, so that he can analyze it and draw a conclusion whether or not I deserve the delegation I am requesting.

I believe I still have a lot to add for the community, as I have been adding for over 3 uninterrupted months.

I would also like to ask if any of the POB community whales are reading this post, if you can express your opinion I would be very grateful (didn't want to pester your notification bar with one more mention), as together we can come up with more opinions strong about the path we want to take for the community.

I hope that I can have been clear enough, and that my publication has not been in vain.

I will be waiting for the response from proofofbrainio@proofofbrainio.
