Good afternoon, Steemians!

The time has come! Time to try my very first homegrown papaya. I've had the papaya stalk that this papaya came from for over two years now, and it's fruits are finally maturing!

First fruit - even Irma couldn't kill it!

This one didn't reach peak maturity - you can tell because it only has two seeds

If this one tasted so good and didn't even reach ideal maturity/ripeness, I can't wait to taste a homegrown papaya that does!!!

So this papaya was incredibly sweet and delicious, even though it wasn't properly ripened all the way! (The hurricane stunted its growth last month)

I hope you guys get to try homegrown fruits like this in your life, because the store bought ones pale in comparison!
