Prelude
Good day to all, how are all of you doing? Hope all of you are doing good. I wasn't able to arrange with someone to test out the ghost cards for community engagement, hence I am back here again with another episode of Social Media Challenge. I think the game suddenly progressed real fast with new promo cards and also many cards from the Soul Bound rewards that entered the fray. I do not think I am ready as I don't own many of them and hence I need to keep battling for more Glint and also to obtain more cards to level up my current collection to make them still able to do well.

Many a times, in the midst of battling, we face foes that are just so overwhelming and hard to handle. Some come in the form of owning cards that we do not own, but others come in the form of cards that are already at max level which makes the match even hard for us to battle against. Having max level is something that most players dream but facing them become your greatest nightmare. So today, I faced a nightmare when I met a maxed General Sloan on the battlefield. And let's get right on to the battle and see how I attempted to diffuse it with my selection.

Ruleset: What Doesn't Kill You, Stampede, Broken Arrow
Mana Limit: 51

Selection Analysis
Whew, thankfully the ruleset is Broken Arrow, else it will be an even tougher uphill battle. With 51 mana at my disposal, I had to put up a strong lineup to fully absorb the mana available to me. For the selection on my end, I placed all the big guns I have in my collection. Baakjira to be the front tank with its various buffs and debuffs such as Strengthen and Slow. To give Baakjira the ability to attack, I've put Kulu Mastermind adjacent of it to enable Weapons Training onto Baakjira to give it 3 melee attack, while Kulu Mastermmind itself is also able to have opportunistic strike on cards that are low on health. Following which is my favourite card Djinn Oshannus that is always reliable for any match up that it is available for. Next is River Hellondale which gives Resurrection to 1 card when it falls for the first time and by itself also comes with a good magic attack as well. Following is Deeplurker which also possess Opportunity and can hit hard as well. Last but not least, will be Nerissa Tridawn which anchors the last position with it's massive magic attack. From my side, it consist of all my heavy hitters.

Now onto my opponent's side, which Chaos Knight taking the front tank with ample of abilities unlocked because it is also a max card with Inspire and Giant Killer on top the usual shield. Next will be Djinn Renova which had an additional Triage on top of Strengthen and also a whopping 4 magic damage. After Djinn is a 3 damage Time Mage that included Rust to shave off any armour buff that came from Kelya. Next will be a Uraeus that has Poison and a Gargoya Lion with both having 3 melee attack. Final card on my opponent side to fend off sneakers is the a Dumacke Orc.

All the cards on my opponent side all looked so scary at their max forms and all come with very nice stats. Definitely not gonna be easy but let's see how things progress as I take on this crazy max lineup.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - Game on. An eventful first round with massive exchanges in attacks. A crazily boosted Chaos Knight with the rest of the lineup easily knocked out so much health from Baakjira and it is down to 3 health. Uraeus managed to poison Nerissa which is not a good thing for me but thankfully, River Hellondale managed to zap Chaos Knight and took it out of the fray. One down, many more to go.

Round 2 - Another crazy round with plenty of exchange, in this round Baakjira got killed and resurrected while there were continuous bombardment on Djinn Renova. Nerissa expected to fall next turn due to her health falling way low. Gonna be tough as the match continues.

Round 3 - Things suddenly accelerated with Oshannus taking out Renova, Kulu Mastermind taking out Time Mage and Deeplurker killing Dumacke Orc. In the midst, Baakjira was also taken out by my opponent. Now we are left with 2 more cards to take care of.

Round 4, A simple zap from Oshannus killed off Uraeus and the rest of the lineup continued to reduce the health of Gargoya Lion.

Round 5, Kulu Mastermind in enraged state opened the round and took out Gargoya Lion with ease to secure the victory!

Battle Summary
What seemed to be a tough match up against a very strong opponent managed to end off with a nice victory with my lineup coming up on top. It does look crazy at the start with all the enhanced abilities by my opponent, but the quality of the cards also matter as I loaded my lineup with 4 Legendary cards and they overturn the matchup and secured the victory which I am really glad.

Wrap Up
Everytime I face a max out lineup, it is always very scary but sometimes the cards that we own can actually surprise us with the outcome and help bring in a very sweet victory that we will remember!
