Hello Splinterlands warriors and welcome back to my blog!

Port Guardian is a Water unit of the Frontier set. It is a frontline tank, using its armor and health to protect the rest of your team. At level five, it gains the ability Corrosive Ward which decrease it's melee attacker's armor by two. This makes him a great unit in Armored Up ruleset as he destroys enemy armor.

Featured Battle

The ruleset for the battle was Armored Up. This is an ideal situation for the Port Guardian to take the tank role. He can destroy the enemy tank's armor as well as other melee attackers who will hit him. I chose the Water splinter for this reason and had the Port Guardian as tank.

In second position I had a level two Buns the Unseen. He already has a thick armor that can repel magic. I anticipated that the enemy will use magic attackers as well but I was wrong. The rest of my team were magic attackers.

The enemy chose Fire and had Jolius Blast in the tank position. His Void ability makes him an ideal tank against magic units. Giving him an armor through the ruleset gives him an additional layer of defense.

The battle went as I planned. Three melee attackers lost their armor when they hit Port Guardian proving he is best in this ruleset. This helped my off tank Buns the Unseen decrease the enemy tank's health while my magic units do their job from the back.
