Hello everybody, how is everyone doing? Hope all of you are doing well. This week's recommended card is Djinn Apprentice but instead I have something else that I would like to share with you guys, which is the Spirt Hoarder. A card that holds a special place in my heart.
Thoughts on Spirit Hoarder
Like a guardian yielding a staff, this little magician will come in handy to many lineup and doing its little magic to make your team stronger.
Without further a do, let's get started with this week's sharing.

What does Spirit Hoarder looking on growth?
Like many legendary cards, instead of gaining stats, Spirit Hoarder gains abilities.
As Spirit grows, it gains dispel and blindness. 2 crazy abilities. Dispel at higher levels are important, wiping out advantage/buffs from opponent lineups. Blindness reduces melee/range attacks from hitting.All these abilities are team play essentials.
Spirit Hoarder works really well with taunt monsters due to the triage ability.

Prediction before pressing rumble
2 very different lineups. Will my taunt strategy with Queen Mycelia protection and Spirit Hoarder triage prevail? Let's find out.
Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, Due to rule set, everything smacking towards Mycelic Slipspawn. But Spirit Hoarder heals it and the rest of the magic lineup smash up my opponent's. Scorcher, Antoid Platoon and Djinn Apprentice all get taken out.
Round 2, Spirit Hoarder continue to keep Slipspawn alive while the rest of the team disposed off Disintegrator and Firebolt. Leaving Living Lava left on the board.
Round 3, Living Lava stands alone, killing Hill Giant but Spirit Hoarder lands the final blow. Victory secured!
After Thoughts
A great win and what I have intended as the combo worked as I wanted it to. Really pleased with the outcome. Spirit Hoarder has done what it needs to do and on top of it, land the finishing blow to my opponent.
With this, I wish to mention about the triage ability. Triage heals the backline, so who better to heal? Something that takes all the damage and punishment which are the taunt cards.
Some examples of taunt cards: Mycelic Slipspawn, Shieldbearer, Wave Brood to name a few.
These are cards that take a big deal of damage from magic, range, sneak, snipe etc. Here comes triage, which will be the one that heals all these damage and keep backline cards safe from those attacks. The longer this combo holds, the longer we can deal damage to opponent before those cards get taken out. Not forgetting Spirit Hoarder is a neutral monster which means it can appear in all splinters as long as neutrals are not restricted.
Did my strategy work in this game? Yes it did. The triage taunt combo is indeed really good in this to keep backline safe.
Will I be using Spirit Hoarder in the future? For sure I will. No regrets adding this card to lineup especially with the goodness it brings and the combo it has with taunt monsters. In an earth splinter lineup, boosted by Obsidian, it does 2 damage while healing backline. This makes it a good damage dealer as well.
Being a legendary card, it does not come cheap like the remaining rarities. However, I strongly encourage all to either rent or buy a copy. The card is very viable at level 1 with the triage. With it's versatility to be able to be fielded in every splinter, definitely strengthen the utility of this card.
