Hello everybody, blessed Christmas to everyone. Hope all of you are having fun with your love ones and enjoying the festivities in this season of giving. Today, I will be doing a battle sharing on Lira the Dark. One card that I use often in my Death Splinter lineup.
Thoughts on Lira
This lady strikes from the dark and she is very fast. Often catching opponents of guard and even before they can strike.
Without further a do, let's get started with this week's sharing.
Let's look at the Level 1 base stats for Lira:

What does Lira looking on growth?
At level 1, her speed and opportunity can already take out key backline cards that are exposed. As she level up, she gain more attack and even swiftness, which makes the whole lineup faster.
For me, this lady is all about speed. Opportunity and snare are awesome abilities. Opportunity with high speed really make any monster very scary. Not only does she strike hard, her dodging also way better than many.

Opponent Lineup
Prediction before pressing rumble
Dang, it's the sickening Llama and it's best friend Kron. If there is one thing that can help us, it is speed!
Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, Friendly across, no casualties so far.
Round 2, Enough of friendliness, casualties appeared. Harklaw fell, alongside Fungus fiend. Kron at this moment had half of health being shaved off.
Round 3, Pelacor Mercenary and Corpse Fiend fell. Life Sapper now anchors the front line for me.
Round 4-5, Lira takes out Goblin Psychic and activates Last Stand. Life Sapper falls to Kron, but Lira and Sha-vi pick up the loose ends and secured the victory, smashing Kron.
After Thoughts
Another win recorded against my most dreaded lineup. Whenever I see the Llama, I know half the time will be a loss to me.
I am quite glad that I have manage to win this time and I see that speediness helped alongside the ruleset of healed out. While just having a 2 damage, Lira punish my opponent by taking out cards before they can react. Similarly, Sha-vi also fall into this category with 4 speed. This 2 can wreck lineup fast if they strike the same targets.
Did my strategy work in this game? I wasn't expecting the meet Llama, what I aimed was a fast paced game with Harklaw tanking all the damage which my 2 backline speedy monsters kill anything in sight.
Will I be using such a lineup in the future? Yes I will. I like the idea of striking ahead before anyone else. Usually if we allow opponent to slowly develop their team and start striking us, it will be too late to retaliate.
Lira is a card that often get overlooked, but the speed and its abilities is something that it really offers that can be game changer. I owned a copy of it and enjoying how much good it brings me. So if you are contemplating, just go get one and I am sure, she'll bring you many surprises.
