At the warehouse in Sheet Harbor where Madame Lussier met her end along with her son, Skokusi. About a day goes by before there is any movement in the perpetually dark warehouse. Stepping out of the shadows are two women. One in a power suit. A white blouse, dark blue jacket and skirt with a tie. The other is in blue jeans and a Avenged Sevenfold tshirt.
The business woman is Elizabeth Gallant, owner of a multimillion dollar holding company that buys and sells other companies for profit. Her form changes as she steps into the lit area by the bodies. She seems to grow in height until she is seven feet tall. He skin becomes black as night and thins until her clothes seem to hang off of a skeletal figure. A small pair of infernal, curved horns erupt from her forehead and as she bares her teeth, they resemble sharpened fangs capable of tearing into flesh. A night hag.
The second woman is Alexis Logan, leader of a cruel criminal organization known as the Red Thirst. She steps into the light and reaches up to her hairline at the scalp and begins to peel off her own face, her hair thickening into a wriggling mass of red worms that hiss and mewl as they dribble blood. He revealed face is a misshapen means of leathery flesh punctuated with a bulbous nose, like a gnarled knot on an old oak tree. Her massive brow overhangs sunken, lusterless, black eyes. Her fingers elongate and form long, flesh shearing talons. A Blood Hag.
Elizabeth Gallant walks over to the downed Madame Lussier and kicks her shoulder. She regards the wide, dark pool of blood on the concrete floor with a sigh.
Elizabeth Gallant: Our coven is broken.
Alexis Logan is on the ground, sniffing the stagnant blood of the fallen Skokusi, almost crawling over him with a grin.
Alexis Logan: It’s that German that took her whores from the Dirty Secret that did this.
Elizabeth Gallant: From what Lussier has described, she is no mere German.
Alexis licks the broken collar bone that sticks out of Skokusi’s corpse. You know, the one Minerva ripped out and shoved up through his heart until it poked out sideways through where it came out of? She hisses.
Alexis Logan: The hand that wielded this bone as a weapon is powerful. No mere mortal did this. Are they hags? Maybe she can replace Lussier.
Elizabeth Gallant shakes her head, looking angry as she regards the dead annis hag that was Madame Lussier.
Elizabeth Gallant: This is an insult that must be avenged, Alexis. We will seek another to reform our coven, but this Esmeralda von Krauss must be brought to us to pay for her disrespect. She will die. It will be years upon our table that she will writhe in eternal agony, but she will die in the end. Let us go. We have a war to plan…
The pair retreat into the shadows to make their plans.
