Greetings Steem,
It's time for the "introduceyourself" post, since you can be anyone or anything on the internet nowdays...
Ok, I'm definitely not a dog riding a horse, since I'm typing on a laptop, but, what can I share with you, that you may actually find useful?
Name?
Not useful enough, but an 'ok' thing to start with.
I go by Bill Vergakis on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/bill.vergakis, you can add me there to learn more about me and keep in touch.
I am a teacher, a personal trainer and nutrition expert, so I love to learn and teach other people cool stuff. And what's cooler than nutrition, exercise, human physiology and everything related to these? Nothing, if you ask me.
Here's what led me to this path;
At the age of 20, competitive cycling was what that got me into this path. Lots of endorphins, -ooops!, I mean training- first places, crashes, "good" nutrition, good sleep etc...
Pure pleasure, as any endurance athlete can confirm...
But about 5 years later, something was wrong... Chronic fatigue, underrecovering and eventually overtraining.
Things became ugly. Even, standing on my feet was uncomfortable. Yeah, 20-25 hours per week of training and a full time job have come to take their toll.
Now what? I knew I could do better than that. I wanted to feel good, look good and be able to do great stuff with minimal effort. I wanted to evolve...
So what did I do? I studied.
I spent hours and hours on books, internet, research studies, success stories, science, bro-science and whatever I came across. Fun stuff! And then I applied it.
Eventually I've had it right; crystal clear mind, good physique, steady energy levels, increased productivity, increased libito just by sleeping, eating and exercising (in this particular order) the right way.
These posts are dedicated on sharing this knowledge, because, when it comes to fitness and health, things are much easier than most people believe. Science, is largely applicable and even takes into consideration individual's beliefs(placebo effect). While the opposite's not true.
As you can see mindset is huge. The same goes when it comes to performance and living a healthy lifestyle.

Training Volume: 1-3 hours/week

Mind Status: Oh, there things in life other than training
"WOF WOF", I mean, see you later...
PS: These trophies are what's left from my old cycling days, which is kind of nice!
