These days I use to participate in lichess tournaments, mainly Bullet 1+0 and Rapid 10+0. In the best case, I take a place in the middle of the score list. But, miracles happens. Sometimes. I won the minor paceros league.
I played 6 games, won 5, and won 14 points. And here's the first game I played. My opponent will be anonymous.
Gunderam gambit and dumb mistakes
1.♙e4 ♟e5, 2.♘f3 ♟c6, 3.♙d4 ♞f6, 4.♙dxe5 ♞xe4...
This position is a turning point in the game. Usually, my opponent drives the knight to the fork attack position. So, the best move, in this case, is moving the queen before the king, to protect the fields from potential fork attack. After that, I usually make some dumb move that leads me to disaster. But, My opponent made such a dumb move that even I wouldn't have made.
...5.♗e2 ♛b6...
I expected my opponent to castle the king to prevent checkmate at f2. Or, to move bishop c1 to e3 and goes to counterattack. But...
...6.♙b3 ♛xf2#.
Looks like my opponent was in hurry to finish the game or made some kind of joke. I don't believe that someone with a higher rank than me could make these mistakes.
