According to the small dimensions of business cards, my idea was simplicity. The business card has the function to give clear information about the one it represents. According to that, the business card is as good as simple. I decided to design a simple business card with, white background, a strong Hive logo and a QR code. At first, I needed the basic elements. I downloaded the logo at https://hive.io/brand/.
Then, I generated a QR code for free at QR Code Generator.
The last element I needed was a logo of #HivePhilippines community. I downloaded the one 
After I got all the needed elements, I could start the design process. Before I started, I've seen entries to this contest and most of them are very nice, creative and catchable, but most of them miss something. They contain the Hive logo with no word about it or a few words like blockchain, decentralized, scalable, fast, etc. Imagine the business cards comes real and be given to someone who never heard anything about the Hive. What would that someone think about the Hive and what should do with that? Would that someone scan a QR code to see what's it about? Don't think so. People are sick of arcane content commercials that try to attract them to explore what's it about. It's much better to give a clear description of what the Hive is. I described Hive in one simple sentence - Decentralizad blockchain blog and social ecosystem without trollers. I think it's good to underline that there're no poisoning trollers on Hive.
