Krueng Cunda (river Cunda) is what creates the transition zone between the river and the sea. History records that 3 successive governments that controlled this place in the past used this environment as an international port base, namely: the Government of the Kingdom of Sumatra (Pasai), the Government of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam, and the Government of the Dutch East Indies in the 19th century.

Benevens, Eenige voorafgaande beschouwingen
Door: JHR.J. H. P. VON SCHMIDT AUF ALTENSTADT
