There are no negative emotions.

We're talking about duality - good and bad; positive and negative.

... Pain and pleasure.

The Ego has a very important job, in order to help you to SURVIVE.

And one of the Ego's functions is to help you to move toward pleasure, and away from pain.

Without the Ego, we'd all be DEAD.

The problem is that we have become IDENTIFIED with the Ego - we "think" that the Ego (and voices in our head) is WHO WE ARE.

It's not.

The Ego is kind of like a 4 year old child - it has very limited information coming in from the 5 senses.

And while it is important to listen to our children, understand how they feel, and to VALIDATE them, in the
end WE must make the decisions based on what we know in our HEARTS.

So how do we handle our so-called "negative" (painful) emotions?

Return to the NOW MOMENT.
