I also have had a fair share of cheating experience in this aspect you wrote about so i really do resonate, especially in an unstable market situation, this is bound to happen. And like you said taking one's time in market bargaining is something i also agree with, this same situation also happened yesterday ,where i pressed for more information on a very expensive product i wanted to buy.
