It’s a big NO for me.

I had an issue with a friend back at university, because of this mindset, she always expected me to distance myself from people she had issues with. I don't inherit enemies, not even from family members, I prefer to have my experience, build my narrative and observe people myself.

Loyalty doesn't mean inheriting someone's enemy, that's not loyalty to me and will never be, every relationship is different. I can be loyal to a loved one without making their enemies mine.

I only draw the line when someone’s actions directly affect me , when they disrespect my boundaries, or involve serious wrongdoing, until then, I believe people deserve to be judged by their own actions towards me and not another person.
