Interesting topic. I saw a post related to this on Facebook last week. I went through the comment section and everyone was just typing "Do what works for you" That's a funny way to justify their action, but what's my business? They are actually right in their own way.
I believe cohabiting with your partner doesn't guarantee a successful or longlasting marriage.
People can cohabit and still lack some values like, mutual respect, honesty, emotional maturity and many other core values in relationships.
Even in marriage, people still lack these values, so cohabiting with them doesn't change a thing.
Cohabiting doesn't take away people's flaws or teach them to be better individuals.
As a lady, I understand the importance of spending time with your partner. You can spend the weekend or a few days with your partner, but I don't recommend cohabiting, especially for ladies, we always have the most to loss in situations like this.
You can build compatibility without staying with a person, all it takes is honest communication and mutual respect.
And if you have to cohabit as a lady, better have clarity, better be clear about the guys' intentions towards you and don't feel trapped or hesitate to walk out if it gets really toxic. You aren't protected at the end of the day.
If you like cohabit for 20years no be marriage you dey, na boyfriend girlfriend 😂.
No legal or even traditional protection so choose yourself first and walk away 🚶♀️🚶♀️🚶♀️
